Celebrate Earth Day
Can you believe it's almost April? Where did the time go?
Earth Day is coming up on April 22nd, and I thought it would be important to highlight eco-friendly wedding sites and products throughout the month.
It's quite common for today's bride to look for organic and earth-friendly products for her wedding. From eco-favors and details to organically grown flowers, planning a "green wedding" is not difficult to do.
I think the best places to look for eco-wedding advice and ideas are from eco-bloggers who specialize in wedding content. I've written before about Emily Anderson's useful book and blog, Eco-Chic Weddings, but I've come across another great eco-blog that I wanted to share with you.
Earth Friendly Weddings is an extension of Earthly Affair, a company that sells stylish eco-invitations. The owner, Jennifer Stambolsky is an eco-wedding expert who inspires and informs brides on everything from stationery and flowers to fashion and accessories.
Jennifer is also the Eco-Wedding Expert at iVillage, so if you have green wedding planning questions you can post them on the Eco-Friendly Expert message board and get the answers and help you need to plan the perfect eco-wedding.

Hi! In my country (Argentina)we're most used to eco-weddings. We carry them out at a farm (own or hired for the occassion), have a Argentine barbecue for lunch (daylight faovours eco-weddings: you don't waste electric energy for light effects!) with traditional "empanadas" (baked meat-filled pastries), sausages, veal and/ or pork ribs done Argentine style, maybe roasted chicken, with plenty of salads in an amazing salad-bar. You can ask your family to bring their favourite cake to share with and so prepair a large "cake-bar". Surely, you won't need flowers: country has plenty of them, together with trees and grass! And can adorn tables with ivy and other greens which grow everywhere at the chosen location. Want it more eco-friendly? Get the bride arrive on a horse-chariot, ornamented for the special occasion!
we are chinese, and we used to indoor marriage party.. what do u think?
