Vote for Your Favorite Cake at Brides.com

You know how much I love wedding cakes, so when I flipped through the current issue of Brides magazine and saw a feature on the 50 most beautiful wedding cakes I knew I had to write about it.

In addition to looking through and getting inspired by these amazing designs, you can go online to Brides.com, vote for your favorite cake and enter for a chance to win that exact one for your wedding!   Entries must be received by April 1st, and the winner will be chosen on April 14th.  Here's a link to view the 50 cakes you can choose from.

I know I'm no longer a bride, but I still have a favorite.  The sweet-themed bundt-cake-to-cupcake tiered cake featured above caught my eye. I'm voting for this one, and if I win, I'm using it as my 30th birthday cake later this year.  (Dave, if I don't win, now you know what cake to order.)

The cakes featured above are from the following bakers:
Left:  This light blue cake with flowers and butterflies was created by Robyn Loves Cake in Santa Barbara, Ca
Center:  This pink design is covered in ediblke glitter.  From Wedding Cakes by Kim Payne in Cheyenne, OK
Right:  Inspired by a pop art painting, Confetti Cakes in New York City designed this 5-tiered cake.
